Hello and welcome to CPK English Bulldogs !!!!!!!!!

Located in Orange County,  NY

Approximately 45 Minutes From NYC

Now that you have decided on a "Bulldog" as your dog of choice - Please view our breeding program to see some of our numerous pictures of "Champions" in our beautiful bloodline that we continuously strive to maintain and improve.  Then continue on to read about us.....

We are a small hobby breeder located in Orange County NY.  Our hobby as it turned out is now our way of life.....

We are not a large kennel or puppy mill that purchases puppies from other breeders to sell as our own.  CPK English Bulldogs is

committed to improving the "English Bulldog Breed" bred for conformation, temperament and health. We breed for THE BEST QUALITY  bulldog possible and we occasionally have show prospect and pet quality puppies available for purchase to approved homes.  We have spared no expense on our breeding program to insure all of our Bulldogs meet or exceed the standard.

Like you, we wanted to start our Bulldog family.  The question was where to get one?  They're really not to hard to find.  You can pick up a newspaper, go to your local petshop or you can even look up "English Bulldog Puppies" on the internet and you'll wonder what all the commotion is about.  Finding one is not the problem, finding on of "Quality" is..... We have spent years attending dog shows, meeting and speaking with breeders and other"Bulldog" owners, researching books and even the good ol' internet.  We have found from speaking with many different people that purchasing a puppy online you face many obstacles and questions, with that comes doubt....

Such as "Who" is selling them and "Why"?  Chances are that the owners decided to breed their two dogs and advertise them in the newspaper or online;  those are the ones who don't know or care about the "Breed" or the "Bulldogs Special Needs".  Neither are puppy mills http://www.maryshouse.us/PuppyMillPage.htm that breed whatever dogs they have available at the time as much as possible or people who "Import" them from other countries, ignoring the health concerns alltogether and sell them to petshops or online, just to make a quick buck.  In these instances you will find that there will be no health guarantees, veterinarian records, registration papers, etc.  You will not be able to meet the puppies parents, meaning you will have no idea as to the size or temperament of the puppy or the "Conditions" in which they were raised.  A puppy from one of the above may be less expensive then one from a breeder, with that you lack the benifits of the breeders experience, no one will be available to take your call if you need advice, have a simple question, if your "Bully" has a major health problem or you cannot keep him/her for any reason, they WILL NOT take the puppy back.

We took our time and found "The One", a breeder we were confident and felt comfortable with.  They were very patient and understanding towards our inital skepticism, knowing that we were making a large investment not only in the puppy but in them.  As we know reputable breeders will only breed a few times a year, so obtaining the "Quality" of puppy we were looking for was limited.

Fortunately for us, he had a litter and we made our first "English Bulldog Puppy" purchase,  he happens to be a "Show Prospect".

Someone once said to us that "Bulldogs" were like potato chips - You can't have just one, so true.  How can you not fall head over heals with those soulful eyes, wrinkled faces and that personality......................

After a while we decided it was time to add to our family.  We contacted our breeder and was informed that unfortunately they had no puppies available at that time and we were again faced with the dilemma of locating "Another Breeder".  After many inquiries, we thought we found someone we could trust.  We made our first and last mistake - we purchased another puppy and ended up spending a fortune not only on the puppy but the vet costs were astronomical.  The puppy was not the quality we were promised and had numerous health issues.  Trying to contact them was impossible, no return phone calls or response to our e-mails.  We were stuck.  After months of back and forth to the vet, she was finally getting better.  Due to her health using her in our breeding program was out of the question.  Now what do we do?  After much debate and heartache, we decided to adopt her out to someone who was not interested in showing or breeding, just wanting a campanion.  We found her a nice family with three small children who fell in love with her and her with them.  She is well cared for and loved by everyone she meets!!!!!  Moral to our story - once you find someone you are comfortable with and feel you can trust, stick with them - DON'T be mislead by others.

So the story goes, we stayed with our original breeder and have aquired all of our Bullies from them and are extremely satisfied.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding the purchase of your bulldog pup, whether it be from us or another breeder feel free to call.

We own all the sires and dams that we breed.  All of our bulldog puppies have been bred, born and raised in our home with alot of love, attention, compassion and care.

Their well being is our main priority.
